Your Bike Resort in the Tuscan Hills

April 2024 saw the inauguration of the Ciclovia delle 3M (3M cycle route), a ring-route of about 90 km connecting the three municipalities of the Colline Metallifere: Massa Marittima, Monterotondo Marittimo and Montieri. It can be travelled mainly clockwise, but also in both directions, and offers different levels of difficulty.
The cycle route connects the excursion areas of the territory by means of secondary, rural and forest roads and rediscovered paths.
It has 14 rest areas and 10 service pillars with tool kits and pumps, two of which, in the locality of Malfatto and loc. Troscione, are equipped with recharging facilities for electric bikes.

Monte Arsenti and its trail park of 7 MTB trails have become an atypical case in the Masseto panorama, known internationally by enduro enthusiasts.
The peculiarity of this relief lies in its being a hill with four slopes accessible for climbing, thanks to white dirt roads that cross it in both directions.
The altitudes, between 500 and 600 metres, allow descents of up to 5 km, which offer an exciting and varied riding experience. These areas, with their well-organised tracks, continue to attract bikers from all over the world, consolidating their reputation as ideal enduro destinations.

The Maremma Challenge Bikepacking is a unique adventure designed for cycling enthusiasts. It is the ideal event for those who wish to take in the beauty of the landscapes, immerse themselves in history, have fun, and share emotions with other participants. The route, a ring that starts and ends in Massa Marittima, winds through enchanting medieval villages, suggestive protected nature reserves, and countless breathtaking views that embrace the coast and the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago for over 500 km.

Grinduro is a social cycling race: cyclists tackle an all-terrain course of around 100 km, with muddy singletrack, dirt roads and paved sections. Four timed segments add competition, but the pace of the rest of the route between the stages is decided by those taking part.
The event is also a weekend-long celebration of cycling, with excellent food, great bike brands, live music, camping and a festival atmosphere.
